Jim McIngvale, also known as 'Mattress Mack', had a rather good day at the bookies recently. In fact, 'good' is probably the understatement of the century. He actually won an incredible, eye-watering, flabbergasting $75 million after betting on his beloved Houston Astros to win the World Series.

Mack, who is actually business man that sells mattresses, has not only gone viral because of the sheer amount of money he won, but also for several videos posted on social media of him collecting his winnings. In the latest viral clip, so heavy were the bags of cash that he collected from BetMGM in Las Vegas, that he had to carry them in a wheelbarrow.

He used the wheelbarrow to transport the endless wads of cash to his private jet, where the pilot was waiting to assist him in lifting them onto the plane. "This money is heavy," he said with a wry smile.

McIngvale was already pretty comfortable economically, even before his huge winnings. His mattress business was very profitable, as shown by the huge amount of money he used to place the bet in the first place.

The businessman placed a total of $10 million in bets at various sports bookmakers for theHouston Astros to win the World Series, which of course they did last Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies. At 7.5-to-1 odds, he won roughly 7.5 times his initial stake... 75 million dollars. Not a bad day at the bookies...
