Kevin Hart and Steph Curry teamed up for one of the funniest adverts of the year for Chase Freedom Unlimited credit cards. The advert's premise, which features two of the biggest stars in basketball and showbusiness, is based on Kevin Hart using his Chase Freedom card to purchase the Gold State Warriors.
At the beginning of the commercial, hilarious Hart burst into the team's stadium, the Chase Centre, where Curry is practicing a few shots. In stereotypical new owner fashion, he begins barking orders, instructing that the seats in the stadium 'have gotta go'. After seeing Hart's crazy antics, Curry pauses his session and in disbelief questions his new bosses' orders: "what kind of plan is that?", he says. Hart then throws some comically bad shots before storming off and shouting "I bought the team".
The advert has gained plenty of traction online and has been quoted by many as being a work of art.
Perhaps even more funny than the advert itself, though, are the bloopers. Curry posted some comical clips on his Instagram of the takes that didn't make the commercial, and plenty of the two stars sharing a joke off camera.
'#ChasePartner Not sure I laughed harder on any set in my life Always comedy with my brother @kevinhart4real... Appreciate @chase Freedom for bringing us together!! "Put a heart on it!!!" #CashBros,' was the caption the point guard chose.
"My Brother!!!!!! Loved working with you man....we are just getting started," replied the comedian- a comment which has raised fan's expectations regarding the possibility of future collaborations.
