General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, December 6, tease that Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will have an anniversary surprise while Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) faces a wrong diagnosis. Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will also gloat to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so let’s talk about what’s in store.

At GH, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will be surprised when Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hints that Marshall’s diagnosis may be wrong.

There’s no way to know for sure without the proper testing, which Marshall has never had.

Marshall may agree to get some genetic counseling and find out for sure whether he has schizophrenia.

Since the show’s playing up Portia’s suspicions, it sounds like Marshall’s old diagnosis was indeed inaccurate.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will quiz Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about a way to end this nightmare – presumably meaning the situation with dangerous Esme being on the loose.

Jordan may admit that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) have teamed up with Ava Jerome (Maura West) on a plan, but Curtis may not love the idea of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) being at the center of it.

Over with Rory, he’ll insist he wants to take Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) some place for their anniversary.

Rory and Trina haven’t been dating all that long, but there’ll apparently still be a milestone that he wants to celebrate.

At some point, Trina will open up to Ava and get some guidance.

Although Trina cares about Rory, she can’t stop thinking about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) – and that may be part of why she needs some advice!

At Pentonville, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will hope that Spencer has realized which side he can trust.

It’s clear that Cyrus wants Spencer to turn against Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and trust him instead.

Spencer will eventually receive a present behind bars, but will that be something good or something bad?

It’s possible Victor will send a “gift” to remind Spencer of his power – or maybe Cyrus will offer something as an incentive to be on his team.

Then again, maybe Trina will send Spencer some sort of reminder that she cares.

Regardless, Spencer will have a lot to think about and will feel pulled in multiple directions.

As for Victor, he’ll assure Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) that his plans are still alive.

However, Victor will also fume over something being unacceptable, so there’ll be some new developments that could obviously hinder those plans.

At Wyndemere, Esme will let Liz know that she threw out the prenatal vitamins and has no intention of taking care of herself or the baby.

This is Esme’s desperate attempt to find a way out of this captivity mess, but Elizabeth will try to catch her in a lie.

Esme will insist she can’t wait, so she may act like Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is going to blame Liz if her health suffers and the baby suffers as a result.

Nevertheless, Liz will suspect Esme is bluffing and actually cares about her baby a great deal.

Esme’s maternal instincts have been kicking in, so Elizabeth may use those against her.

Back with Jordan, she’ll get an invitation. That may involve Curtis formally inviting Jordan to his Valentine’s Day wedding to Portia.

Finally, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will track down Curtis and perhaps seek a favor.

Since Alexis is so fixated on all the hook drama, she may think Curtis can help her work a new angle.
