June 2024 · 2 minute read

Cynthia Bailey shared a health-related post these days about uterine fibroid. Check out the message that she share don her social media account.

‘So many women suffer with uterine fibroids, I know because I used to be one of them. Please Join us tomorrow evening at 5:30 pm EST for a virtual discussion hosted by the Congressional Caucus on Black Women and Girls and Congresswoman Yvette Clarke highlighting the impact of uterine fibroids on women, their families, and society and how we can come together to create change. You will hear from patients, policy-makers, physicians, and others who are truly turning awareness into action!’ Cynthia wrote.

She continued and said: ‘The discussion will also center around the importance of passing the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Uterine Fibroids Research and Education Act of 2021 that will allocate much needed funding towards fibroids research. The bill is named in honor of Congresswoman Tubbs-Jones who first introduced a bill on uterine fibroids in 2001. Let’s honor her legacy and join us in creating transformative change. The discussion will also be streamed live on our Facebook page at The White Dress Project: We Can Wear White!’ Cynthia captioned her post.
