Marriage is a very serious commitment that is meant to last a lifetime. Unfortunately; however, things don’t always go according to plan and some marriages end in the blink of an eye. While many divorced people go on to marry, very few go on to marry the same person they divorced in the first place. But for these celebs, it looks like the second time around was the charm. In the crazy world of Hollywood, where anything is possible, nothing should come as a surprise.For all of you that don’t believe in second chances, these stars and their relationships are proof that sometimes people really can change – for better or for worse. Here are 10 celebrities who re-married the same person.

Pamela Anderson

During the 90s, former Playboy Bunny, Pamela Anderson, was widely considered one of the most attractive women in the entertainment industry. Between her work on the big and small screens, Anderson had become a household name, and while her image was a bit provocative, fans couldn’t get enough. Apparently, Anderson’s ex-husband, Tommy Lee, couldn’t get enough either as the couple married twice, once in 1999 and again in 2008. Unfortunately, the couple couldn’t make it work the second time around, and divorced for good in 2010.

Barbara Walters

TV journalist, Barbara Walters, is one of the most well-known and well-respected names in the news industry. Over the course of her career, Walters has broken several big stories and interviewed countless important figures. However, despite her busy professional life, Walters managed to make time for a personal life as well. In 1981, Walters married Lorimar Television CEO, Merv Adelson, but the couple divorced in 1984. Just two years after their divorce, the couple married again in 1986, and was divorced again by 1992.

Dionne Warwick

Legendary R&B singer, Dionne Warwick is one of the greatest talents of her generation. But unfortunately things in her personal life didn’t run as smoothly as her career. In 1966, Warwick married drummer, William David Elliot, and the company divorced the following year. However, just a few months after their divorce, Warwick and Elliot remarried.  According to Warwick, “It was a case of can’t do with, can’t do without, so I married him again.” Although they stayed together for a while, the couple divorced for a second and final time in 1975.

Marie Osmond

Marie Osmond gained mainstream success during the 70s. As a member of the famous Osmond family, Marie followed in the footsteps of her brothers. In 1982, Osmond married Stephen Craig, and the couple had one child before divorcing just a few years later. In 1986, Osmond married Brian Blosil, and it seemed like the couple was in it for the long haul. However the couple divorced in 2007, and in 2011, Osmond remarried her first husband, Stephen Craig.

Eminem

Eminem doesn’t seem like the marrying type, which is probably why neither of his marriages to Kim Scott worked out. Eminem married Scott for the first time in 1999 and divorced in 2001. After their split, Kim became the subject of several of Eminem’s songs and everyone was stunned when the couple married again in 2006. However, the couple quickly divorced again in 2006, and it looks like the two are done with each other for good.

Melanie Griffith

At age 14, Melanie Griffith began dating actor, Don Johnson. In 1979, the couple married, but after six months they decided to go their separate ways.  Just a little less than a decade later, Johnson and Griffith decided to give things another try, and married for a second time in 1989. After welcoming their first and only child together, the couple divorced again in 1995.

Larry King

Larry King has one of the most recognizable names and faces in journalism. The 81-year-old’s career has spanned over several decades, and he has had a memorable impact on generations of viewers and listeners. But behind the scenes, King has also had a pretty interesting love life as well. King has been married eight times to seven different women, and all of his marriages have been relatively short. His marriages to Alene Akins, the wife he married twice, only lasted seven years total.

NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes relationship with her husband Gregg, was well-documented as part of her story line on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Although their relationship seemed strong when the series began, they divorced in 2011. However, some time apart convinced them both that they were meant to be together, and they remarried again in 2013.

Judge Judy

Judge Judy is probably the most well-known TV judge in the business. However, even some of her most faithful viewers may not know that the hard-nosed judge is married. Well, not only is Judge Judy married, but she married the same man twice. In 1977, Judy married fellow judge, Jerry Sheindlin. Although the couple divorced in 1990, they re-married (each other) just a year later, and are still happily married today.

Richard Pryor

The late Richard Pryor has gone down in history as one of the most talented comedians to ever do it. However, things in his personal life weren’t always so funny. Pryor was married seven times to five women. Yup, that’s right, Pryor married two women twice. In 1986, he married Flynn Belaine before getting divorced just a year later, before remarrying in 1990 and divorcing again. 1981, Pryor married Jennifer Lee, divorced her the following year, and married her again in 2001. The couple stayed married until his death in 2005.
